With summer fun comes summer heat. Use these golf tips to stay cool on the course all summer long:
Many courses open earlier in summer. Book a tee time before 11 to avoid the hottest part of the day.
Drink ample amounts of water to stay cool. The summer sun can quickly dehydrate you before you even realize it.
Wear visors, breathable fabrics and light colors to stay cool.
Use at least SPF 30. Even if there is cloud cover the sun’s rays are still working.
Avoid sugary drinks:
Drinks loaded with sugar will cause you to feel more dehydrated.
Have a towel:
Bring a towel to keep sweat at bay. Many companies now carry cooling towels to help you escape the heat.
